Rana is a big budget film. In this film, Rajinikanth’s plays a triple role. Muthu, Padayappa and Rana is a period flick. Deepika Padukone is the leading lady and Sonu Sood plays the baddie. A.R. Rahman is the music director of Rana. Ratnavelu is a cameraman. Eros International will be producing in this film, Soundarya Rajinikanth also jointly produced on Rana.
